Description
Native American Paiute seed jar circa 1880, length 9″, diameter 19″ with a 1″ diameter opening to distribute the seeds, with bands running through the weave. Depending on the area, the Paiute used Willow, Yucca and Devil’s Claw for their materials. Paiute coiled baskets are always coiled to the left. This seed jar basket is in excellent condition and is highly collectible.
