Description
Gorgeous rare Blue Gem Turquoise cabochons. The Blue Gem Turquoise Mine near Battle Mountain Nevada is famous for producing some of the worlds finest vibrant blue turquoise with a unique matrix. The mine is largely exhausted making it highly collectible. Opened in 1934 as Battle Mountain Mine, mining ceased in the 1970’s with it’s valuable turquoise found mostly in private collections. (2) cabochons. One L 7/8″ x 5/8″ W and the other L 3/4″ x 3/4″ W. 36 carats.
